My sleep sanctuary!
One of the places we spend our most time in our life is our bedroom. For this reason, I wanted to transform my bedroom into a space that I loved being in, where it felt calming and peaceful, like being in the sky among the clouds.
I worked with an interior decorator Emann Tehaili to bring my vision to life with the gorgeous bedroom furniture from one of my favourite places, Mobilia. I LOVE all of their furniture because their quality is amazing and their selection from modern to transitional pieces are endless so you are bound to find something for you.
The color combination of natural wood, and whites with a touch of black and green, just screams cozy and homey, yet so put together and elegant. The style we decided on is a cross between Japandi and Scandanavian which achieved the cozy and calm neutral environment that I wanted.
This beautiful floor mirror is made of natural wood which matches perfectly with my night stands and dresser. I love its rounded shape which gives it a zen feel in the room and is the perfect size, not taking up too much space in the room.
I never had a dresser in my room before so I was so happy to finally have one and have the additional space for my stuff! I love this 6 drawer dresser in natural wood with rattan framing. It is elegant yet simple and fits perfectly in this corner of my bedroom.
When it came to decorating the top of my dresser, I told the interior decorator I wanted pieces that were inspirational and meaningful to me. So for frames, we opted for a sunset in the clouds photo and a quote that says “Peaceful mind, grateful heart.” I couldn’t be happier with these two pieces. The other touching and meaningful decor additions are the two stacked books that are some of my favourite books of ALL time. They made a difference in my life and seeing them in my bedroom everyday reminds me of how much I’ve learned from them.
I have seen a lot of artificial olive trees and this is by far the BEST artificial olive tree I have come across. It looks very realistic and adds such a perfect element of nature into my bedroom without taking away from the rest of the furniture. The black ceramic pot it sits in is a little heavy and feels luxurious.
The matching rattan bedside tables are so stylish and minimalistic. I love that it has a door instead of drawers and the shelf inside is great to separate my essentials. The left nighstand and right nightstand are sold separately so make sure you get the correct side when ordering based on where you are placing them!
The star of my bedroom is my CLOUD fabric bed. It truly makes me feel like I am sleeping on a cloud. The off-white color and textured fabric gives it a timeless design and modern elegance. It’s the perfect neutral and natural piece to work with for any decor theme you want to go with.
I am SO HAPPY with how my bedroom turned out. Mobilia brought life back into my bedroom with all of these gorgeous pieces. If you want a serene, cloud-like bedroom, this is FOR YOU.
